Digital Impressions at DentaSculpt® Dental Clinic
At DentaSculpt® Dental Clinic, we are dedicated to providing our patients with the most advanced dental technologies available. One of the key innovations we offer is digital impressions, which revolutionize the way we capture the details of your teeth and gums.
What are Digital Impressions?
Digital impressions use cutting-edge scanning technology to create a precise, 3D digital model of your teeth and oral structures. This method replaces traditional dental molds, which can be uncomfortable and time-consuming. We use the most advanced 3Shape TRIOS® Intraoral Scannerfor taking intra oral scan.
Benefits of Digital Impressions
- Comfort and Convenience : Digital impressions eliminate the need for messy, uncomfortable impression materials, making the process more pleasant for patients.
- Accuracy and Precision : The high-resolution digital scans provide incredibly detailed and accurate representations of your teeth, ensuring better-fitting restorations and appliances.
- Speed and Efficiency : The digital scanning process is quick and efficient, reducing the time you spend in the dental chair and speeding up the overall treatment process.
- Enhanced Communication : Digital models can be easily shared with dental labs and specialists, facilitating better collaboration and communication for optimal treatment outcomes.
- Environmentally Friendly : By eliminating the need for physical molds and materials, digital impressions are a more sustainable and eco-friendly option.
Process of Making Digital Crowns/Bridge/Implant Prosthesis
At DentaSculpt® Dental Clinic, the process of making digital crowns takes only two visits
1. Digital Scanning : Using 3Shape TRIOS® Intraoral Scanner, we will capture detailed images of your teeth and gums. The process is quick, painless, and does not require any special preparation.
2. 3D Model Creation & Making Digital DMLS or Zircon Crowns : The digital scans are processed to create a precise 3D model of your mouth. This model is used to plan and make crowns.
