What to Expect
Step 2 : Clinical Records
• Intra oral scan: Certainly! An intraoral scan is indeed the initial step in creating a treatment plan for clear aligners. At DentaSculpt Dental Clinic, we utilize the 3Shape Trios intraoral scanner, known for its speed and accuracy. Remarkably, it takes just about a minute to capture a jaw scan.
• Photographs: As part of the clear aligner treatment process, photographs will be taken from various angles to assess your face and teeth. These images help create a comprehensive understanding of your dental condition.
Step 3 : Treatment design & Simulations
• After analyzing clinical photographs, X-rays, and the positions of the patient’s teeth, the case is meticulously designed using specialized computer software. Subsequently, a treatment simulation is shared with the patient. This simulation provides a visual representation of the anticipated outcome from the clear aligner treatment.
Step 4 : Final Consultation
• During this stage, you’ll be presented with a treatment simulation that showcases the expected results of the clear aligner treatment. The duration of the treatment will also be explained to you. Once you’re satisfied with the predicted outcome, the aligners will be fabricated in the lab. .
Step 5 : Delivery of aligners
• The delivery of aligners is the final step in the clear aligner treatment process. Once the aligners are ready, you’ll receive them at the clinic. Remember to follow your dentist’s instructions for wearing and caring for the aligners.
